I also realize that due to introversion, I've made bad decisions
This led to self doubt, so I decided that I would place myself in the back burner and I poured all of my positive vibes into my children. Not like my daughter, she is raising her children, homeschooling and folIowing her dreams!!! (mission accomplished). I have three super adult children who are doing amazing things everyday.
Two decades later, I am now an entrepreneur, still an introvert and I am sure we shared some of these experiences...
- Overthinking
- Minimal support system to talk out your ideas
- Took an extremely long time to launch new ideas
- Stalled and got stuck in creativity
- Exhausted myself from doing everything
- Observed more and acted less (spent hours researching!!!)
- Lacked investing in myself because I could learned to do it myself or just decided that money could go to family.
However I began to appreciate the powerful women I connect with and have learned to CHANGE THE CHANNEL.
Here are the following steps that can help:
- It is okay to invest in yourself and your growth. Yes you figured it out, the point is to make peace with asking and paying for help. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!
- Find your person (Ha! Greys Anatomy) and connect regularly. Create a system of support where you both win. Find a co-space to meet and to talk and to get energized and to inspire each other.
- Participate in a brain dumping exercise, then work with a coach that will leverage your wisdom, provide a little push in the right direction by sharing their expertise. This will allow you to move faster and more strategically. A coach will see your vision, stretch you and impact you.
- 2 Timothy 1:7, ESVFor God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Speak It! God has not given me a spirit of fear or shyness. Instead, I have power, love and self-control.

Happy Mother's Day Mompreneur!!
